St Mary’s & St Peter’s C E Primary School is a Voluntary Aided Church of England School.
St Mary’s & St Peter’s C E Primary School is a Voluntary Aided Church of England school, offering a nurturing and modern environment for learning. Set within attractive grounds, the school has been thoughtfully modernised and extended to provide excellent facilities that support a wide range of educational activities. Each year group benefits from its own dedicated room for small group work, in addition to well-equipped classrooms. We also have a specialist music room and a library housed in our Atrium, which serves as a hub for quiet study and reading. The school features two halls: a large hall used for collective worship, lunches, sports, and arts events, and a smaller hall with a mirrored wall that is ideal for music, dance, and various other activities.
Our outdoor spaces are equally well-appointed, with separate playgrounds for infant and junior children, as well as a dedicated area for reception-aged children. A large grassed area provides a full-sized football pitch and ample space for seasonal sports like football, athletics, rugby, cricket, and rounders. In addition, we have a spacious Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA) that is in use throughout the year for a variety of physical activities. Supporting our environmental initiatives, we also have a Greenleaf Garden, complete with an outdoor classroom and a Wildlife Garden, which offers diverse habitats for children to explore, encouraging a hands-on approach to learning about nature and sustainability.
