St Mary’s & St Peter’s C E Primary School is a Voluntary Aided Church of England School.
The school, set in attractive grounds, has been modernised and extended to provide excellent facilities. In addition to well-equipped classrooms, each year group has its own dedicated room for small group work. We have a specialist music room and a library in our Atrium. We have two halls; a large hall used for assemblies, lunches, sports and arts events and a small hall, with mirrored wall used for music, dance and many other activities.
Outside are well-equipped infant and junior playgrounds with additional separate space for reception aged children. A large grassed area provides a full-sized football pitch and generous play space for other seasonal activities, including football, athletics, rugby, cricket and rounders. We have a large Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA), which is used throughout the year for a wide variety of activities. To help support our environmental work, we also have a Greenleaf Garden, complete with an outside classroom and Wildlife Garden which includes a wide variety of habitats for the children to explore.
