A warm welcome to St Mary’s and St Peter’s Church of England Primary School.
St Mary’s and St Peter’s is a Church of England Primary School in the heart of Teddington. Our ‘SMSP School Family’ is made up of wonderful children, dedicated staff, enthusiastic parents and supportive governors.
Our school vision is to live out Jesus’ promise of ‘Life in all its fullness’ (John 10.10). We believe that a high-quality education within a Christian context is the best start a child can have in their school life. We believe that every child should enjoy their education and be happy, healthy and safe at school. Belonging to St Mary’s and St Peter’s means we all work together to create a community where our Christian vision and values are at the heart of the school and where children thrive in all aspects of their learning.
We want our children to be successful lifelong learners, confident individuals and responsible citizens who are able to make a positive contribution to society. We will achieve this by providing a broad, rich and exciting curriculum, which is both inclusive and challenging in order to get the best from every child.
In 2012, our refurbished state-of-the-art premises were opened by the Bishop of London and we enjoy wide ranging and inclusive facilities, with many opportunities for extra-curricular activities.
In 2018, we had a Church School inspection, which described the provision as ‘Outstanding’ in all aspects, stating that ‘The school’s Christian vision of ‘life in all its fullness’ is lived out across the whole school, and results in pupils who achieve highly and treat each other with compassion.’
We hope that you will find our website informative and helpful. Whether you are a prospective parent; somebody who might be interested in working at our school; or are already part of our school community, we hope that there is something here for you.
We are confident that you will see that St Mary’s and St Peter’s Church of England Primary School is a vibrant, happy and fun place to be. We are proud of our children, our staff and the provision we offer.
Kind regards,
